The gorgeous view ~ looking towards a private reserve.
We have seen Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest and Impala.
Towards the park, the ablution block* in amongst the trees on the right hand side, before the fire. Anyway it's fine again to use :-)
The storm.
Lunch is easy, either mielies or real chocolate from Madagascar
*thanks Tanya*.
We went to the local Olympic Pool for a swim and some Aqua (not a class ~ I struggled to remember our exercises) nice. A little run down, but only ten bucks to get in :-)
We went shopping twice, found a very SuperSpar ~ it has everything we need and then some, with a Woolies next door. Not sure why my hubby takes me shopping, all the nice things leap into the trolley when I go along ~ I was pleased to find the Lebkuchen, feels like Christmas!
*On Thursday evening we woke up with some commotion in the park, apparently one of the residents decided to set someones tent alight and also the men's side of the ablution block. It has a corrugated iron roof and thatch inside to make it look nice. I do not know who it was, but the police came to arrest him later that night and he hasn't been back since, it's very hard to get good legal assistance for arson over a weekend (tut tut). Apparently nobody listens to him, I'm sure they'll listen now, and he'll get free food and a bed, but no get out of jail free card.
Glad the fire is just a good story, and no actual harm done.
