Getting ready to leave JHB

 

 

 

We went out to dinner on Thursday 29 November 2012, nice little Italian place * groupon voucher*.

 

 

It was such a scramble to empty the house, the last two days especially...

 

We sold all the furniture to AA Auctions and they collected everything as agreed on Friday 30 November 2012 at 09:00, they emptied the house in about an hour and took another hour to load their truck and trailer and then they were gone, still we packed... One more trip to our storage unit, we stored some of the contents of the cupboards. P dropped the house keys for the new owners and off to the hotel. I took my car to a friend for storage and got a lift *thanks* to the Sandton Gautrain station to meet Tanya for a last goodbye, we managed to have a quick coffee and then she left and I went to find to find P, as we had booked into an hotel *free* for the night! What a relief knowing we had completed most of what we needed to do. We had supper that evening on the square and a good night's rest, breakfast at the hotel and off to collect the caravan from storage, 09:00 we hit the road...

 

 

See we still have loads of room in the six square metre unit (the smallest).
